Avantgarde Urban Taksim

Location

I stayed at Avantgarde Urban Taksim and had an excellent experience. The hotel is very well-located, just a few minutes’ walk from Taksim Square and the pedestrian street İstiklal Caddesi — which made exploring the city very convenient. The staff were very polite and professional, and they even upgraded my room at no extra cost. My room was on the 8th floor — spacious, clean, and very quiet with no noise from outside or the corridor. They also served a lovely plate of dried fruits and nuts as a welcome gesture, which I really appreciated. The breakfast buffet offered a good selection and was very convenient. Everything was smooth and comfortable from check-in to check-out. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Istanbul.

Didn’t like that I had to check out — I could’ve stayed much longer!

The location was very close to taksim Square, the rooms were spacious and clean and the staff were helpful and polite especially oguzhan!

The swimming pool was not in use and the breakfast didn't have a great variety of choice.

My overall experience at the hotel was mostly positive. The staff were excellent – very welcoming, professional, and always ready to help. The food was delicious and well-prepared. The room cleanliness could have been better, as there was some dust, possibly due to the carpet.

What disappointed me was that the indoor pool was closed, and we weren’t able to use it. There was no prior notice about this, which would have been helpful to know in advance.

The bathroom lock was broken, rooms were smaller than depicted. Bathroom accessories were missing. (The bath door of our room was broken).

Hotel has central heating and cooling system. It was not possible to change temperature levels for individual rooms. The room we got was extremely hot as all rooms were being heated and there was no way to decrease the temperature other than opening the window. The lock of the window was not working and it was not safe to open windows with kids on top floors.They changed the room next day and the temperature became bearable after opening the windows as window locks were functional in that room.They should make changes so that every guest can manage temperature in the rooms according to their liking and comfort.

The staff was cooperative and friendly.

The facility needs major maintenance, especially the rooms.

Great value for money. Location was perfect. Really kind and professional staff. Room was clean and comfy with a great view.

Pool didn't have heater so the water was really cold and we couldn't use it.

Room temperature was very hot, we could not control the temperature due to central heating.Limited supply of toilet paper. Just received 1 roll for 4 people. We had to request toilet paper even after they cleaned the room.

Help desk was very supportive amazing team. Room was nice, Also location was very good. I recommend this hotel

I stayed at Urban Taksim hotel for two weeks and was blown away by the welcoming and helpful staff. The receptionists, in particular Oguzhan and Duray were so helpful and always with a smile. They assisted me during a challenging situation offering support and guidance when I needed it most. Highly recommend this place for its excellent service and warm atmosphere!

The only thing that could be annoying is the clubs outside of the hotel, you can hear the music at night.

Wifi and cleanliness. Manager was very cooperative and he arranged a car at a reasonable cost for our family drop at Istanbul airport

Breakfast was purely for Turkish people style. They should add something for sub continent people like Indian and Pakistani items for breakfast. Room service wasn’t good. Even for water bottles we called several times

Well located, value for money, friendly and very helpful staff. Arranged for early check in and late check out without fuss. Special mention to Oguzhan for his kindness and initiative to offer help. Thank you.

the staff were vwry helpful.Sometimes we book 5 star hotels and get horrible staff who spoil our mood.but here they were very warm which.makes the trip more fun

It was good nice and tidy hotel. Located 5 mins walk to Taksim square. Had plenty of food options nearby.Rooms were spacious.

Washroom was of smaller size, and they did not have free parking. You have to pay 10 euro to park your car in paid parking.
